My piggies have only ever done this on very rare occasions, and it has
always been because they want to get through the bars, usually to visit
(an)other
piggie(s). Zebra even went through a phase of chewing the outside of the
bars
of Fidget and Scrabble's cage because he wanted to get in at them, and
amazingly enough, he eventually succeeded in opening the cage door and
getting in!
He just strutted about playing "king of the castle" and generally
intimidating them, so I had to get him out and wire the cage door shut (I
can access
via the roof).

Would it be possible for your piggies to live together in a larger cage? Or
to have more floortime together? Maybe even more floortime separately would
help?

The original plan WAS to house the girls together in one cage.
Unfortunately, every time we get the girls together for floor time, Ivory bites Hermione.
:-( No one has drawn blood yet, but I am just so afraid one of them will
get hurt, I keep them separate, but side by side. Ivory is a good deal bigger
than Miney, and we think she was neglected by her previous owners, whereas
'Miney came home to us as a wee girl and has been pampered from the get-go.
Ivory is definitely the Alpha pig in our house, lol. We are getting a baby
girl piggie sometime in the next month, so maybe once out of quarantine we will
try that one with Miss Ivory.
Thanks!
