    Hello, fellow slaves and guineas,
I have a funny little tale to share with you. I hope it'll add an extra ray of sunshine to your day.
For days I have been fretting over the size of my girls' cage. There are two of them and the tank was one of those "My First Home" gigs and it was really too small of one pet, but it was okay when Pooky was still little. Well, now that she is huge and so is Blacky, I am very anxious to get them into a bigger cage. I have plans to make one, but we are moving in a few months, and it seems a waste to construct something that may or may not fit into the new apartment. Besides, I'd like to really trick it out and without knowing what the new place will be like, there are too many variables.
Anyway, because of my guilt. I have been trying to think of ways to arrange their pigloo, food bowl, water bottle and toys so that they still have a little room to play until it's floor time. Well, I was coming up with nothing. They just couldn't seem to be able to have everything they needed in there and be able to romp.
Well, I got home from work this morning to an astonishing site. Blacky and Pooky were hiked up beneath the cage and were moving it over their food bowl. Once in place, they dashed inside and got cozy, as if to prove to me that they could both rest in there and protect the food at the same time. All I had to do was switch which side of the cage the water bottle was on! Isn't that amazing?!
My husband came home and told me I was very clever and I had to tell him that I had nothing to do with it. He didn't believe me, I don't think, but I cross my heart that it is true.
You know, I really think people underestimate the intelligence of these piggies, I really do. Creepy.
                            Take Care,
                                    Amber
