Jaime-
While I agree wholeheartedly with the idea of lighting a candle every
year on his birthday (along with parades, speeches, etc), since his
birthday is in March, I feel we should also do so sometime in the
  near future.
Just when, we must decide. Perhaps there is another fitting occasion,
  like a particular Saint's day or something . . .
We certainly appreciate you being willing to take this on, it really helps
  to keep things rolling.

I've gotten many, many positive responses to the idea of lighting
candles in Peter's memory. Now it's just a matter of choosing a day &
time I suppose. Does anyone know of a date that would have some
significance to him? I was concerned about the time difference until I
read Kay's e-mail:

"I think the time difference helps...it means that somewhere in the
world,
on that day, there will be candles alight in Peter's memory. When was
Peter's birthday? That might be a suitable to day, to celebrate the
day he was born, rather than the sadness of losing him."

I totally agree with her on that. It seems fitting that a light will
shine somewhere for him everywhere that day. So any suggestions for a
date anyone?
