Hello Slaves,
Sorry I haven't written in a while.
I've been such a mess and totally
on-the-go for the past couple of
wheeeks.

I wanted to ask for some Prayers
for my Mr. Butterscotch. Around
July 4th, I felt a lump (bump)
on his belly. So, I did some
research and then watched it for
a wheek. Well, it didn't get any
bigger. It's about the size of a
pee. So, I took him to Dr. Griffin
yesterday to have it examined.

Well, the lump on his belly isn't
the Vet's biggest concern. Instead,
he had another bigger lump closer
to one of his legs...Sigh! And that
one is about an inch long and maybe
the width of a normal sized pinky
finger. Geez, I get one piggie
fixed and now, this. :-(

So, Dr. G said that it looked like
it could be some sort of mammary
growth. And whee won't know if it
is cancerous until we get it out
and have it analyzed.

Tomorrow, I am taking Butterscotch
back to the Vet (for surgery) and
Dr. G is going to remove the big
lump and if all goes well, he'll
also removed the pee-sized lump.

I was so upset yesterday because
I wondered how long the bigger lump
had been growing. Because I thought
I had felt a lump closer to that
area the day before I discovered the
pee-sized lump, but then I couldn't
find it the next day, and every
day after that. But, the Vet said
that most likely, it hasn't been
there but so long, maybe 3-4 weeks
and that cysts/fatty tumors can
grow rather quickly in many cases.
So, I tried not to beat myself up
too much about that. I mean, I touch
all over him everyday, and pet him
and cuddle him all of the time.
I just want to get those growths
out of him.

My boy is doing Fine though, and is
acting totally normal and the growths
are not causing him any discomfort
at all. I know he is wondering why
I have been examing his body the way
I have this past week.

Dr. G said that is good that we caught
it early. So, hopefully the procedure
will go Okay tomorrow. But, you all
know that there is always a Risk
when surgery is involved with our
little ones.

Please keep my Butterscotch in your
thoughts and Prayers. And I will
update everyone when I hear any news
tomorrow.

   Love 'n Wheeeeeeeps,
     Leah...Slave to Brownie Bear
         & Butterscotch (Lumpy Boy) :-)
