Dee,

In answer to your post: Peter's family and friends said the three
charities listed on the GPDD tribute page
(http://www.gpdd.org/peter-gurney.html) were important to him. The
best way to honor Peter is to contribute to one or more of the causes
that were dear to him.

The CCT is planning a memorial in the form of an annual trophy (see
article on GPDD website), and the Dr. Hadwen trust will also be
creating a memorial web page. The great Ormond Street Hospital for
children may also do a memorial, but as Nancy noted a few days back,
this could take some time.

There is certainly no harm in thinking about doing other things, and
perhaps some of them could be accomplished if people get together and
try (and we will!). But for now, the best thing to do is to contribute
to the charities.

Tex
