[Gpdd] Announcement: Help and $ Needed at Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue

Hi All Piggies and Peoples,
     This piggy rescue crisis (Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue) is in the Northwest 
coast area. You may remember that when Sandy (Penny Giggles) was forced to move 
into a place that did not allow even piggies, Foggy Creek came to her rescue.
     The rescue now badly needs our help. Some 50+ (as I understand it) 
piggies were rescued from a back yard where I assume they were abandoned -- in any 
case, left to fend for themselves. Lisa, of Foggy Creek, took them in. We can 
dimly imagine the expense of this. And now the pregnant piggies are having 
their babies. So the numbers are increasing.
     Lisa runs her rescue out of her home and I admire her efforts 
tremendously. She's done a great job of finding homes for so many of our little ones.

     Help by way of fostering, necessary items, food, etc., or $ would all be 
most so welcome in getting these little guys back on the path to health and

     Otherwise, forgive me for being so behind on my GPDDs. I just haven't 
been feeling anywhere near "up to par" recently -- but this too shall pass! I'll 
semi reenergize...soon, I hope. 
     Wilson is holding his own, he has, in fact, gained an ounce. He 
voraciously grabs his food and makes a run for it. It's actually funny. My guys all 
have separate cages tho I intend to eventually put him with Mr. Cooders in an 
extra large cage. So I don't know why he thinks he needs to grab it so 
emphatically. He's not in competition for food!

      Wilson wants to extend his own thank-you to his buddy "Tweek" for the 
Oxbow vitamin C, the incredibly neat pill crusher and other good things. He

write again, too. Its been so long since he's heard from him. And of course he 
sends very spcial snuggly feelings to his "Kung Fu Fuzzy." He hopes she will 
hop in her sports car and come to visit him again soon.

Condolences to any who have lost their little sweethearts. I read a post last 
night that brought tears to my eyes -- and don't they all? May God comfort 
you. 
     And well wishes to any piggies feeeling ill or otherwise under the 
weather.
