Hi Liz,
   
  Mine turn into divas too once they realize their importance.  The veggies you feed Matilda are all an excellent.  Have you tried pears, cherry tomatoes or just citrus rinds?  
   
  I grow mint in my small garden and my gang loves that.  
   
  As long as they're getting a steady source of supplemental Vitamin C, I wouldn't worry about the fruit.
