[Gpdd] [RAINBOW BRIDGE] Condolences for Squeakers

Sarah, I was so sorry to read that Squeakers had left for the Rainbow  
Bridge. In my opinion anything over 3 years is a good age for a guinea pig, and  it 
is a credit to you that Squeakers lasted almost twice as long as that. I am  
amazed that his mother has outlived him, and pleased to read she still has her  
daughter Patches for company.
 
As a slave to a fairly large herd myself, I can imagine how dreadful it  must 
feel to be losing them one by one as age overtakes them - it is something I  
dread. I know that, no matter how many in the herd, it still hurts like hell 
to  lose anyone - each is so special and loved.
 
May it bring you a small shred of comfort to know that far across the  ocean, 
there is someone who shares your grief and wishes you and your remaining  
herd well.
