I took Emma to Dr Hughes today--she's a lumpy-bumpy pig anyway (prone to lipomas--fatty tumors that are not a big deal.)  She's had a tummy-lump for the last 3 weeks--I was holding her last night & noticed that it has gotten a lot bigger lately--like about an inch & 1/2 now!  I got her into Dr Hughes today & he aspirated it--not happy with what he saw so she's scheduled for the lump coming out & spaying--he thinks it may be either breast cancer or a precancerous condition.  She also has 2 lipomas under her arms, but that's not a biggie & doesn't need to be addressed right now.  So she's scheduled for surgery on Monday--here we go again!   This will be our 6th surgery on our 3 pigs--Potter has had surgery twice for her lumps, also electro-surgery for a lump in her ear--Molly had her 3rd eyelid removed a few weeks ago--and this is Emma's 2nd surgery for her tummy lumps.  Please hold good thoughts for us on Monday--I'm sure Emma will do fine, Dr H. is excellent,  but it's always upsetting.  Thanks!   Deb, Potter, Molly & Emma
