Thanks to all of you who emailed me & posted about Emma's surgery this past week. She came thru it fine--turned out to be a huge fatty tumor, so she didn't have to be spayed for a breast tumor like we originally thought. Poor girl had a tough time in the aftermath--anesthesia & Medicam didn't agree with her--she wasn't eating, or drinking other than what I syringed her with--she was just a little lump! I ran her to the vet on Tues in a panic--she was ok physically, just needed to recover from all the drugs. Dr Hughes was correct on the dosage for her little weight--just didn't take into consideration that she's been congenitally frail. Tues morning she was a champ--eating up a storm, drinking just fine. Emma is doing great now--hasn;t nipped at her stitches, she's so good! Thanks again--Deb, Potter, Molly & Emma
