[Gpdd] [Behavior] Lonely piggie?

I was wondering if I should get a friend for my girl Checkers.  Her daughter Rusti Mae died in January from Leukemia.  I don't know how Checkie will get along with another piggie.  Checkie is an alpha pig that tells you when you're doing something wrong.  I think she's lonely because when she gets floor time, she no longer runs around and just lies on her piggie chair. Does anyone have any advise?  I was considering getting a baby piggie.
