A funny thing happened to me that I wanted to share. I am a teacher and today was staff development day. We had to share something about someone else that others may not know. Well I teach students with behavior problems and kind of have the attitude to go with it. Well my coworker shared that she knew someone (me) who has come across as not really caring about things and with attitude, but since she got her Boys, she (me) comes across as a caring, loving individual who has mellowed out and shares a softer side to herself. Wasn't sure who she was talking about until she mentioned my boys. I turned beet red. And even the principal knew who she was talking about. 
  I will say that I act like the proud mama (ok slave) of my 3 boys. I always have stories to share with anyone and everyone.......Even to the clerk at Vitamin World today. Please tell me, I am not the only one out of control........lol. ...I also believe that if it wasn't for the boys, I would have been a wreck after breaking up recently with a man I thought I would eventually marry. 
  This spur of the moment purchase of Comet and then a little over a month later Alf and Chip, are one of the happiest purchases I have made. There would have been a time when I thought everyone was crazy to act this way over a guinea pig. But I am now a diehard slave all the way. It has made me sad for those who have lost their little ones and laughed at the pics of the pigs during bathing. (those were some cute pics).
  I look forward to reading the posts every day.........Prayers and thoughts to those have lost their little ones.
