Hello, regarding the pellets that were labelled for rabbits and guinea pigs. This may not be right, but this is the way I understand it. There are two main reasons guinea pigs should'nt be fed rabbit food. Firstly, it contains no extra vitamin c and therefore is not as good for them. Secondly, some rabbit foods contain an antibiotic to prevent coccidiosis in rabbits which is harmful to guinea pigs. Many people say it's o.k. to feed rabbits guinea pig food but not to feed guinea pigs rabbit food. Therefore, if these pellets that are labelled for both have extra vitamin c and no added antibiotics, it would seem that they would be safe to feed both types of animal. As I understand it, extra vitamin c will not harm a rabbit but is very beneficial to guinea pigs. I'm guessing, therefore, that these pellets are more like guinea pig food than rabbit food but would also be safe to feed rabbits. As long as they do not have any antibiotics added, I would imagine they should b!
 e fine for guinea pigs.
