Yes, we definitely want to participate, the piggies have just
been milling around too much to get them paired up and
counted!
In the meantime, I want to add a comment. (if I've already
said this, please forgive me and chalk it up to my 'sometimer's
disease!)
A year or two back when we had the Spring Gift Exchange, and
the Okie Piggies excitedly packed up boxes with all sorts of
pignic stuff, we were sad to learn that all didn't end well with
the package we sent to our buddies 'down under'. In the
first place, it cost much more just for postage, but we felt that
was ok, well worth it to be able to participate. But then we
learned later that there had been a considerable delay, and
that Australian Customs/Postal authorities had not only
opened the package, but actually removed most of the
contents. I believe they were left with one or two items.
PLUS they were charged an exorbitant amount just to
accept the package, having no way of knowing what little
was left. I can understand maybe them not accepting the
nice timothy hay I used as packing, but the basket and
little straw hats were imported from China already, and
some of the other items were commercially packaged.
And I had checked beforehand to see what would not
be allowed, as well as being advised as to shipping costs
by our USPS. (plus, THEY double charged me for the
package, as it turned out!) I filed a dispute over this,
but of course there has never been any resolution.
SO - I would suggest that if possible, piggies be matched
to other piggies in their own country, or perhaps find a
way to send a greeting card with a gift card or something.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

my good friends send to me!")

packaging, inspecting, and tasting of these gifts on our
