Hahaha - you guys!  I just love it when we worry about something
  that turns out to be so funny.  (and we all do it!)
  Of course, the last post was the right answer - they are very happy
  when they do this. But then, our dear CocoPuff used to make a very
  similar noise when he was comforting us. Like, when I'd have to tell
  him, in tears, that one of his dear buddies had gone to the Bridge,
  he'd always respond with his murmuring vibrations, telling me all
  was well.  
  So I guess you could call it contentment - but they are definitely
  telling us everything is A-OK in their world (their 'stamp of approval'!).
  Consider yourself blessed!
   
  Dee - sounds like Pumpkin needs lots more lap time, til he decides
  it's a good thing! Give him a big hug for us!
