Hi Everyone,

thanks so much for the advice/stories about piggies and construction.  
In terms of the noise, I think everything should be okay.  That is, all 
of the noisy things are finished.  Of course there will be a bit of 
noise, but hopefully not much!  Nothing like hammering or anything.  I 
will leave the classical music station on in any case.

i will tape the door, and have covered the air intake vent with fabric 
(i'm scared to cover the vent in their room, because it will be 
emitting hot air and I'm paranoid that the fabric I use might get too 
hot...).  Unfortunately I can't take them to work with me (I share an 
office, and I'm not in it that much anyway).  Susi, what do you suggest 
as "additional cover"?

now we just need the contractors to actually show up and do the work!
