Hi Glynis,
I am so sorry to hear that Duke isn't
feeling so good. :-( Poor Baby.

Now, if that jelly substance is what I
think it is, it isn't harmful at all. It's the
male piggie's mucous plug. After he
mates with a female pig, he excretes
the mucous plug to literally 'seal the
deal'. I see this stuff all of the time
because my Butterscotch is always
so horny and that boy is constantly
blowing his 'load', if you know what
whatta mean. So, don't you worry
too much about the mucous plug
stuff. It's totally normal.

I sure do hope that Duke starts
eating on his own soon. Have you
been able to syringe him any critical
care or pellet mush?

I am awfully worried about your Duke.
