[Gpdd] Health - toilet problems

Hi Jemma,

I wouldn't worry about your new little guys not drinking water. Lots of
piggies never do but they get all the moisture that they need from their
fruit and veggies.

Are the stains on your towels just urine or have your boys got diarrhoea?
Are they producing lots of good poos? If it is diarrhoea, are you still
using the same pellets / dry food that they were having at their previous
home? Sometimes a sudden change in these can cause upsets. Also, are they
eating lots of hay? If it is diarrhoea keep them off the lettuce for a few
days and see what happens.

I would err on the side of caution and let your vet / rodentologist have a
look at them. Better safe than sorry.
Once you have the all clear from the vet, do try them on other veggies. If
you have their cages side by side ( hoping that Crockett has got used to the
new boys by now ) they should copy what the big boys are eating and have a
healthier diet.

Good luck with your little ones,

Penny and the Piggyfriends.
