[Gpdd] [Health] Phoebe Update

Phoebe has been on antibiotics for a week now. Her appetite is back
and she's even running around. It's nice to see her get excited and
come running out of her house when I ask if she wants treats.
However, her tummy is tender (bladder area), she squeaks when I press
lightly there and she still squeaks a little when she urinates. Not
as bad as before the antibiotics. She may be a little bloated from
them. So yoghurt for her. But she is perky and always eating. Her
urine isn't cloudy. I was thinking of putting her on shilintong
anyway or eurologist.

Also her feet are still red. The Hibitaine really isn't working. Her
feet aren't tender. I thought I might put Penectan cream for diaper
rash (sores, scalds insect bites etc.) on them. It's got zinc oxide
in it. Is this toxic to guinea pigs?

I'm also considering putting her on Meticam if the vet can do the
blood test. She needs to have good kidney function and the test
stressed her out last time. (They couldn't get blood).

I know she's old now but she's not suffering in anyway, except for
going to the vet. And the older they get the better they get. Any
suggestions?

Evelyn
