Hi piggies and piggielovers,
I'm working hard today and i just needed a break so i decided to post a 
little bit about the favorite man in my life; Jan the boar. With Lotje and 
her UTI and Yaya and her diarrhoea i've been so worried and my sweet boy 
reminded me yesterday how much fun piggies can be ;-).

Jan is a sweet but headstrong pig. You can do almost anything with him but 
if he doesn't want it, it doesn't happen. And he had gotten it into his head 
that vitamin C pills are Yukkie (yes a capital Y that is).
I tried everything, i bought them sweet and sour, cheap and expensive but my 
little connaisseur didn't want it. (so i ended up force feeding them and him 
not liking me quite so much..:-(  )

Then my sister's boyfriend came to visit us one weekend. He was handing out 
the vitamin C and mieke tried to tell him that it was no use trying to give 
Jan one because he wouldn't take it... Well..too late...jan was happily 
munching on a pill (hmmm yummie! do you have more??) They told me 
enthousiastically about the event when I got home. So next monday morning 
when i was handing out pills, Jan got one.
You should have seen the expression on his face: Hm....wait...Ow 
YUK!...mommy! you know i don't want these!!!..spew... So later that day, my 
sister had a try, no use.. he didn't want them.
Next my brother came to visit us. He tried too. 'Well thank you uncle rik! 
Janneke and Mieke never give me nice pills like these'.(note: these were 
still the same pills!!!)

So there we had it; My Jan wanted a man to feed him :-S. (maybe a silent 
hint that I should get a boyfriend too?? Can you imagine the ad?? Single 
white female looking for a man? No specific demands except hobbies: feeding 
guinea pigs lol) I cannot blame him really, it's always the females that do 
the nasty things to him. Me and my sister feed the antibiotics, cut nails, 
trim hair and wheigh him, the vet's a girl too.

But (i'm still scared to say this too loudly) since a week or so jan started 
to eat his pills (small hurray!!) And with it he is liking me much more 
because i don't have to force feed him. Now i'm just the slave with the 
veggies and the massage skills. Last night i was stroking his back in his 
cage and he was liking it soo much that he rolled over on his back, then he 
realised what he was doing(not manly enough ;-) ) and he jumped up. then he 
looked at me really happy and started popcorning. It was sooo funny!
