[Gpdd] [GPDD] Condolences - Tom crosses the Bridge

Glen- Our hearts go out to you!  As if it weren't hard enough to 
  suddenly lose your dear little guy, and to see poor little Jerry
  so sad . . . to have someone who is supposedly caring and
  supportive to make such an unkind remark.  I always feel that
  how people react toward animals reveals their true hearts. It
  reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode where the old man
  had passed on, and was on his way down the path with his
  faithful old dog. When he came to what appeared to be the
  Heavenly Gates, they welcomed him but would not accept
  his dog. So he declined, saying if they wouldn't allow his dear
  dog in, who had been so loyal to him, that he'd just pass. And
  so he wandered on down the path, only to come to a more
  comfortable gate, where they gladly welcomed both he and his
  dog. Of course, this turned out to be the real gate, or door, to
  Heaven, the other having been a trick by you-know-who. Of
  course, we would know this as the Rainbow Bridge, but I've
  never forgotten this story, and it has come to mind over the
  years when someone suddenly revealed their true heart to
  me in this manner. And it always turned out to be a good
  determining factor. Follow your heart, dear friend. You know
  we are here for you, as, no doubt, so are many others.
  Our prayers and best wishes are with you and little Jerry . . .
  and we will keep our paws crossed that just the right little
  piggie friend(s) will soon find your door.
