[Gpdd] [BEHAVIOUR] Bringing a new boar into the house?

....So we are thinking about getting Mr. Butterscotch a companion, seeing as he
is all alone now without Clover, and we were wondering about what people think
gives the best odds of pig compatibility? He is an un-neutered boar of about 3
who lived with his brother until recently.

I've been reading through the archives a bit, but aside from keeping them
separated at first and having them get used to each other on neutral territory,
there's not too much advice I've been able to find, except that it's
unpredictable; sometimes they get along fine, other times not so much.

It would be disappointing to get another pig in the hope of keeping him company,
and have them fight; any other advice? Are we better off with a younger pig?
Is looking for a pig with a reputation for peaceful ways likely to give us a
happy household?
