[Gpdd] [GPDD] Health - the Real Age of Pigs?

First, I want to extend our deepest sympathies and many hugs
to all who have lost dear piggies, I'm afraid I do good to just
read the digest these days. But you can be sure that there
are tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart as I read each
one; sometimes, if it is a longtime friend, I will read the notice
to the OP's, and we all have a good cry. It is at these times
that CocoPuff is especially comforting, with his murmurs of
  understanding and love.
And we want to also recognize all those wonderful senior
piggies, both here and at the Bridge, like Pepi - wow, just
short of 8 years! (That is wonderful, a real tribute to the lucky slaves.) As well as the smallest and youngest, like

sweet little Mouse - Judi, you know we all were pulling for
  her!
And our best wishes and prayers for all piggies under the
weather or facing (or recovering from) surgery. Like the
celebrated Prince Biscuit of Nani - please get well soon,
and best of luck to those royal princes at their first show!
And to those slaves who are ill, also, like Alge and Beth.
(Jaime - have you ever heard of the Piggie Railroad????
surely we could manage to get a pig or two from NY to PA!!)

Speaking of elderly piggies - does anyone know what
the calculation might be to equate to human years? Like, they
say a dog's year is equal to 7 human years? This came to
mind a couple days ago, as I was outside painting the Cavy
Lodge (after colors, etc, had been approved by the Senior Pigs,
of course!), when the elderly neighbor announced, in a neighborly
way, that he would let his little dog out to keep me company.
Then when the little white bit of fluff appeared, he explained
"Candy is blind. And she doesn't hear so well these days.
But then, she's 98 years old!" I wondered if the dog were
older than him, but I didn't ask. It was amazing how the little
gal got around, inside her fence, following familiar paths, I'm
sure. But she certainly heard her friend Tiny's barking, and
joined in with her to warn the kids on their bikes not to mess
with them. (If the piggies had noticed the kids, they'd have
  simply requested treats!)
So does anyone know what one piggie year equals?
  Stumped in OK
