Hello Rachel,

You certainly don't need that pine bedding!! I assume that this is some kind of woodshavings, which are bad for piggies' breathing anyway. Chuck it out for your own health's sake too!

All of my Piggyfriends live in pens lined with newspaper. Easy to clean out - all you have to do is roll up the messy ones and put in clean, fresh ones. They have an assortment of cardboard boxes, lined with more newspaper, into which I put their hay and this too can be rolled up and disposed of with the minimum of mess.

Some piggies use a certain corner of their pen as their bathroom, some just go anywhere, but with the newspaper it doesn't matter.
