Hi Penny,

48 hours can be a long time to a new guinea pig person... since I
wrote to the gpdd, I've had good advice from a few people about
keeping the boys together, and I'm very happy to have it confirmed
that they are just being boys, and that I shouldn't neuter them. I
really didn't want to!!

As for keeping them with the rabbits, I've also decided I definitely
won't do that. We've found a good spot to build a C&C cage (2 levels
of 2x3 cubes) inside the house, so they will have their own
accommodation. I really appreciated your sharing the story about
Gulliver. Even though I'd already decided to separate them, yours was
the first story I'd heard from someone who had actually had problems
herself, and it just makes it that much more powerful.

I did give them a cuddle for you - I'm not sure they appreciated
being caught, but they do seem to like cuddles once the catching part
is over. (-: Another reason I'm happy to have them in a C&C cage - it
will be a lot easier for me to pick them up! Not to mention less
stressful for them.

Cheers,
Suzy
