<<<So: Should I be concerned about the "rrrrrr"ing?>>>

No, you should be concerned about having rabbits and guinea pigs together. It
"seems" that it should be workable, but far too many guinea pigs have been
crippled, hurt or worse because of an innocent bunny. Piggy's bones are
fragile, like match sticks. Imagine bunny (even a mini lop) feet colliding with
piggy. Possible (probably) disaster.
As for the "rrrr" are they slinking and sort of rumblestruting along as
they make this sound? Or are the facing each other and chattering their teeth
(a warning!). When the remaining Jolly Rodents were babies -- Chester and
Charlie -- walked around, stretched out making a definite purring like sound and
they seemed to be having great fun! (They 3 years old now and haven't done it
for a long long time.)
Welcome to the world of Guinea Pigs and to the GPDD.

All best,
Alge and the Jolly Rodents (A rowdy pair of rascals)
