Donna,

As you probably already know, once a piggie stops eating, it is a LONG road
to get him back. I would encourage the syringe feeding as often as possible.

You might want to try some Angel's Mush. It's an alternative to the
critical care. Many rabbit rescuers use it and my Oliver liked it when I was
nursing him. I would use guinea pig pellets to get enough Vitamin C into piggy.

It makes a ton - I would cut the recipe in half. You can freeze the extra
in little Gladware type containers or put a glop in a sandwich bag and double
bag in a freezer bag.

By the way - I would get your vet's approval, but I would give Oliver 1 cc
of Ensure a day just to get some extra calories into him.

"It doesn't matter what the kids say. Rabbits are not disposable like a box
of cereal or a Disney video. They WILL get tired of the rabbits and go on to
the next toy. YOU will have to deal with the consequences. Unfortunately,
most people deal with the situation by DUMPING their rabbits on someone else.
Ultimately, it is the bunny that pays for your inability to say NO."
