Stacy and Squee Squad

We were so very sorry to hear of the departure to the Rainbow Bridge of your
precious little fighter, Teddy. You and she had obviously put up quite a
struggle, and 5 years is an impressive age for a piggie. Now she is in peace,
free from stress and pain in that sunshine-filled meadow beside the Bridge.

We don't think you should feel bad about not opting for the surgery. As you
say, she did not seem to be suffering, and if she struggled to recover from
her bladderstone surgery, she may just not have made it through a second
procedure. We are sure you made the right decision, and you must not blame yourself
for being a bad piggie mom. We know that most of us are likely to part for
the Bridge during the same year, as we are almost all 4 years old, and will be
reaching old age around the same time, just like your own squad. It's like
the people you were at school or college with all start dying round the same
time, and the older you get, the more funerals you have to attend. Death is
the one certainty in life, and piggies start to get tired around 4 - 5 years
old. We consider anything over 4 years to be a bonus, and a sign that piggies
are well cared for. The fact you have two 6 year olds shows what an excellent
piggie slave Stacy is - so no excuse for guilt, OK?

May it bring you one tiny grain of comfort to know that we are thinking of
you and sending a big cyberhug across the ocean from France.

Debbie and the 13 Dolly Mixtures
