In my official capacity as the new LAPS Vice-President, I, Daisy Piggyfriend, would like to extend a very warm welcome to the new member, Fat Boy and the thanks of piggies everywhere to Lori for rescuing him.

When new piggies arrive here they are often in a similar state to Fat Boy and our slave always gives them a thorough shampoo to remove any unwanted visitors. They feel much better and fresher after the shampoo even if they are unsure about what is happening. She says that is easier to remove the mats while the coat is wet, especially if you have a second slave to help hold the piggy, particularly as you have a very large one there. Some of the mats may need a trim as well.

I am lucky as I was rescued with my brother Roscoe when we were little piglets and we are both Rexes ( Teddies ) so our coats do not mat.
