You are right Penny it would be good if we could post pictures on the digest, that would only leave the problem of keeping Fugly still so I could get a good photo of his feet.

Thanks for reassuring me about water and vit C thought maybe they knew of some problem I had never heard of.

Fugly does not have spurs what he does have are little areas of scabbing that look similar to the photo on the link you sent but they are up where his toes meet the pads and slightly on the side as well, they have however improved slightly since preventing him hanging his feet over the edge and giving him a bath.

As the skin has hardened dont know if its best to leave as is and hope it clears up or to try and soften it back to normal.
