Hi all,
I'm going to the vet with Yaya tomorrow. She has had a wet bum for a few weeks now. I already went to the vet earlier but then i got the dog and cat vet. He couldn't find anything wrong with her, and he told me to come back when annemarie was back from her vacation (Annemarie is specialised in rodents and she is my usual vet). 
 
The thing is, with yaya, she is a messy girl, she is just always dirty. Likes lying around in her pee etc. And she is otherwise happy and looking healthy. She is also eating well. She currently wheigh 1340 grams which is close to LAPS standards (1360 is equal to 3 lbs) So I don't know. I also have been know to suffer from the OCM syndrome (Overly Concerned Mommy syndrome lol) But annemarie is nice and takes me seriously so i'm going tomorrow. It is very likely that she will get an x-ray (i'm also taking a fresh urine sample). That will be interesting in itself because I want to know how far her bones have been affected by the OD (she was diagnosed last october). She sometimes holds her backpaw kind of ackward when i lift her so i'm wondering. A while ago I had bricks under the drinking bottles in order to keep their nails short and yaya hardly drunk from them. She is a stubborn pig so it could just be that, but it is not sitting well with me. (the bricks are gone and she drinks normally now).
