Hi, I haven't been keeping up with the digest very well but I was struck about what you said about Rosie losing weight. Si I don't know all her facts but I have had many pggers and I wonder if she is spayed. So while thyroid will/can cause weight loss with lady pigs they have a very high percentage of them just start wasting away combined with an increasing thirst. If this sounds like her at all check her female parts and hormones and get her spayed if it's feasible, it is an instant cure. Most vets will say about any female pet that all female breeds should be sprayed as a preventative, like with rabbits over 60% will get cancer of the uterus and even girls spayed at 2 or 3 yrs olds already have tumors starting. GP's are also very susceptible to diabetes too which will produce a similar symptom, you can check her blood sugar with a regular glucose meter, just nip a toenail close enough for a tiny drop of blood. This is a likely diagnosis if you have been giving here any foods sugary fruits and treats to get her to eat more, its a vicious circle since she loosing weight of course you want to encourage her to eat more.
I'm only hoping every thing is fully checked for Rosie

Good Luck Sandy
