Thank you, Hamlet, for your kind words of appreciation.

I hope that, during my term of office, I can live up to the expectations of all LAPS members and continue the excellent work of my predecessors, Jimmy Jr. and Juliet.

As no other piggy has come forward, may I suggest that Orinoco, of the Surrey Squeakers, be appointed as Vice President herewith?

I intend to keep this inaugural address very short as there is celebratory eating to be done. 

Long live LAPS and pass the cucumber.
