[Gpdd] CARE: Sunshine is still not doing well

Sunshine is continuing to have problems since his surgery. He still
feels discomfort, although I cannot tell definitively if it is related
to peeing or pooping. When he is really uncomfortable and trying to go,
his sides actually puff out and he sort of jumps up in back. Does this
ring any bells with anyone?

I took him back to the vet last week, and my vet thought the discomfort
was probably due to his having had two surgeries back to back. I know
that is possible and maybe even probable, but more and more Sunshine is
turning down his favorite foods -- carrots, celery, cucumber ... Last
night he didn't even come running for cilantro. (His bladder stone
surgeries, BTW, were back in October.)

He still looks up wanting food, but often turns it down. In the
mornings, he's crawling up his cage "wall" to get breakfast, but only
wants green leaf, not his carrot.

We are supplementing him with Critical Care; however, he is getting very
irritated about the syringe now.

Any advice/thoughts?

TIA,
Cindy
