Carly, Steve, and Froders, how sad to hear that Liam developed bloat and made his journey to the Bridge.  Please accept our condolences.  You are so right that bloat is very difficult to treat, but you did all the right things for him -- tummy rubs, children's gas relief, and mineral oil.  It was so touching to read of how you slept beside his cage, too.  We know that Liam was comforted by knowing you were there, and we are sure that his trip to the Bridge, surrounded by his loving family, was a safe one.  We have no doubt that his father Smeagol met him there, along with many new friends.  We are so sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
