I've never had to remove said substance from a piggy's coat but I use Swarfega to dissolve excess grease from a grease gland and I wonder if it would work on this. If you don't know Swarfega in the US, it's the green stuff mechanics use to clean the muck from their hands and is safe to use on piggies. Give it a good rinse with some warm water afterwards.
