Glynis great news about Duke pulling through his surgery in good shape.  Do you think he doesn't eat his hard veggies 'cause it's uncomfortable for him?  Does he eat lots of hay?
   
  Her Majesty The Lady Bug wants you to tell the handsome Duke that she would be pleased if he would join her in the grass eating contest.  She'll even make sure he gets some extra!  She also said to tell him that if the Olympigs are held in Santa Rosa she would get the slaves to drive them about 12 miles to the ocean and they could just sit on the beach and watch the waves and play in the sand.  Mind you, that's all they would do as her Ladyship is very prim and proper but it could still be fun.  Who knows, maybe some of the youngsters would like to surf and that would be interesting to see!
   
  Seriously, I'm glad to hear that Duke is ok for now.  Give him lots of hugs and kisses from us.
