[Gpdd] Peter Gurney: Memorial Light - March 9th

This is your friendly reminder that the second "official" "Light for Peter Gurney" will take place on the evening of March 9th. Peter Gurney was probably the world-authority on guinea pigs.  He passed away from cancer last July 1, 2006, and we decided to keep his memory alive by lighting a candle in his honor, each year on his birthday, March 9th.  As the candles are lit in each time zone, the light will literally move around the world.
   
  If anyone subscribes to other guinea pig web site organizations, could you volunteer to forward this message to their organization?  I don't belong to any others, and people in some of the other groups, (like GuineaLynx?) may want to participate.  Organizations from other countries may also want to participate.  The more, the better.
   
  Anyway, mark your calender -- March 9th (and Happy Belated Valentines Day)!
