[Gpdd] [GPDD] Care: Question about going away

It seems reasonable that we could leave a goodly supply
of water, food, hay, etc, and the piggies would be ok.
However - we must always consider Murphy's Law, which
I have learned the hard way, more than once. Even being
gone just for the day, I've come home to disaster. Like
having the power go off, or the a/c quitting. This time of
year it shouldn't be such a factor, but there are other
things that can go wrong. Water bottles can fall, piggies
can suddenly go where they shouldn't, I've even walked
back into the room only minutes later (thankgoodness!)
to find a certain piggie boy with his back foot caught,
after going over the wall. Scared us all to death, but
  he was ok.
Not to mention your company - do you leave the tv or
radio on for them? It does help calm their nerves (depending
of course, on the progrram!). If you could at least get your
neighbor or friend to check in on them at least (preferably
twice) a day while you're gone, they'd probably be better
than going to a strange place.
  Just my 2 cents's worth.

many listen, though. That's the problem."
