Dawnda,
     My boys and I were so sorry to read of Katie's passing. I remember well 
the day that her babies were born. They were so precious. In spite of my 
resolve to add no new guinea pigs, their picture prompted me to call Jesse (who did 
the 100-pig rescue). She had kept the very obviously pregnant piggers. And 
yes, she did have babies ready to go to homes. 
     That's when Chester and Charlie came into my life. 
     So we feel connected to Katie. Our "boys" might even be related.
     Katie couldn't have hoped for a better home than the one you've given 
her. But our hearts go out to you and know so well the sadness of such a loss.
