Hello everyone and everypig,

My computer has finally been fixed and I am trying to catch up on all the digests that I have missed.

I was interested in the posts about the possibility of our piggies catching nasty germs from ourselves. Peter Gurney was never convinced that this was possible, Vedra of the CCT thinks that it is and I have seen Titch at Cavies Castle wear a mask to treat a piggy when he had a nasty cold himself. Whether it is possible or not, I always keep contact between myself and the herd to a minimum if I have any kind of infection. Better safe than sorry. After all, we have all read about humans catching avian flu, haven't we?

Condolences to anyone who has recently lost a precious piggy and best wishes to poorly piggies ( and poorly slaves ) for a speedy recovery.
