Pat, If the keaopectate isn't working you can give 1/8 tablet of immodium. You can repete it in 3 -4 hours if the stools are still loose, but if they are starting to firm up hold off. It is easy for them to get constipated. Also get some Benbec (not sure of the spelling). It is a probiotic which will help restore the good gut flora the antibiotic distroys. You can get it at a pet store. You can also give unsweetened yougert with live cultures. Not sure of the dose.maybe 1'4 teaspoon. Either one of these need to be given 2 hours after the antibiotic.
