All,
Thanks to everyone and everypig  who responded on line and to me  personally. 
 I guess we all now have a good idea of what to do with a  constipated 
piggie.  It's nice to know that, while the condition is  somewhat rare, it is not 
unheard of and is treatable.
 
Lily's vet was really wonderful through it all.  She phoned daily for  a 
status check and I was so grateful.
 
Isabel is glad to have Lily back in form so that they can race around  
together and have fun  :-)
