Hi Dee and other Piggie nuts (guess I'm saying hi to myself too!)

I have to agree the Pigs is Pigs book is a hoot. I too found a 1906 copy of
it. If anyone is interested I did a quick search on Ebay and there is a copy
for sale
http://cgi.ebay.com/PIGS-IS-PIGS-BY-ELLIS-PARKER-BUTLER-1906_W0QQitemZ330072

there is more than one slave out there that is interested or the bidding
goes nuts, another source is http://www.alibris.com/search/search.cfm?S=R

&qwork=5134212&qsort=p&siteID=Pw2LQAj_zJk-j9MoMv978gvzT70zambY1Q. This site
has editions from the original book in 1906 to the most recently published
in 2003 and others in between.

There is also a Disney animated short of the story that won an Oscar for
Best Short in 1954. It was released Christmas of 2005 on DVD in the Walt
Disney Treasures - Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts, 1920s - 1960s
collection. I'll pop this into my computer now and then for a chuckle. This
link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047353/ has more details about the short
and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047353/dvd has more details about the DVD.

All the best,

Martha, Sally, Poppy, Holly & Miss Otis
