[Gpdd] [Health] Self-appointed barber, JB Poopsmith??

Hello friends and piggie pals,

I am having a couple of problems with my piggies. One is that JB Poopsmith,
the 2-year-old Aby I adopted from the shelter about a year ago, has had
runny poops/diarrhea ever since I got him. He seems fine and healthy
otherwise and whistles for veggies every morning. I feed him and his
companion, Alex P. Hamilton, Oxboy Timothy pellets, timothy hay, and
vegetables like carrots and spinach. Any idea what could be causing this?
Alex is about 4 and shares the same diet, but he doesn't have any pooping
problems.

The second issue is that I noticed after a trip out of town that Alex's hair
was mysteriously shorter (he is a long-haired, black Peruvian). I accused
my father of sneaking him to the pet shop groomer, but he denied this.
Eventually I sat down and watched my piggies, and I discovered that JB has
been trimming Alex's hair! All the hair on Alex's caboose is about 1" long
and fairly even, compared to the hair on his back and forehead which
averages 2"-3". Again, am I doing something wrong? Is JB craving alfalfa
hay or something?? I have a spray bottle of pet bitters that I could spray
on Alex's fur to stop JB from chewing on it, but I don't want to make Alex
stop grooming himself.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Cheryl, slave to Alex & JB
