Jem, Crockett, George, and Fletcher, we are so very sorry that you found
Tubbs fluffed up in his cage and that, despite a visit to the vet, he
left you that afternoon. It was so touching to hear of how he tried to
raise his head when you called to him, but couldn't <sniff>. Please
accept our condolences on his passing. We aren't sure why he left at
such a young age or why the vet couldn't tell that he was dying, but
sometimes piggies can fool not only us but vets as well. Please know
that although Tubbs did not live a long life, you made all of his days
happy ones and he knew how much you loved him. Yes, the pain of losing
one of these special beings does begin to ease, but at first it can be
hard to believe or imagine this. We hope that Crockett is beginning to
feel better; we know it has been hard for him to lose his buddy.
Perhaps at some point you might consider adopting another piggie to keep
him company?

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their humans.

Sadly,
Cindy, Sunshine, Tumbleweed, and Friday
