Hello Slaves,
Well, last wheekend was a total blur.
It went so fast. On Friday evening, I saw
1 or 2 of those tiny, tiny bladder stones
on the towel after Brownie Bear pee'd.
So, I knew that it was time for the extra
long BBPH...I syringed her lots of
water, gave her Shilintong, Lasix, and
Metacam (not all at once, of course).
I turned her over and rubbed her belly
and analyzed her urine everytime she
pee'd.

Well, after the night was over, BB only
passed a total of 11 of the tiny, tiny
bladder stones. Hmmmmmm. Now,
remember that Dr. G said that there
were probably 80-100 of those stones
after last wheeek's x-rays. So, if you
count up those 80+ stones from last
Tuesday and these 11, that would
definitely be in the range.

After Friday night, BB hasn't passed
any more of those tiny, tiny stones.
Maybe we got them all (???). Now, of
course, we still have that big stone. So,
I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing
and then make an appt for next week.
She is still making unpleasant noises
when she urinates (but no screaming,
Thank God). And it's breaking my Heart
to see her in such pain. So, I have
prepared myself to tell Dr. G that I want
to go the surgery route to remove that
big stone. I don't want to go there, but
I'm starting to feel like it's Cruel to let
my Bear withstand so much pain for
such a long period.

Yesterday, BB didn't eat or drink much.
So, I pretty much syringed her water
on and off like all day. I would put her
near the food dish/water bottle and she
would nibble on a couple of pellets. But,
then run back into her pigloo. I finally
saw her eating/drinking around 10pm.
Sometimes she just has those days
where she doesn't want to do anything.

Well, I gotta run. I have a meeting. But,
THANK YOU bunches for all of the well
wishes for my Bear. I know that she feels
your Support and is certainly helping her
get through this.

Warm Condolences and Healing Wheeeks
for those Piggies & Slaves who are not
feeling their Best and who have recently
lost a Friend.

      Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeps,
           Leah...Slave to Brownie Bear
                  & Butterscotch :-)
