Hi Lori. I would definitely recommend KM's. That is what the LB eats with great gusto! She gets KM's timothy pellets and blue orchard grass.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and telling me where you buy
your supplies from.

I did a search on froogle.com. If you're not familiar with it, it's part
of google and gives you comparison prices. I found an online store that
carries Oxbox products. I can get a 9 lb. bag of Oxbow Timothy Hay and
a 10 lb. bag of Cavy Cuisine delivered to me via FedEx for about $36.
Since I don't have a car, and the price of gas is at about $3 in the
metro Denver, Colorado area... plus it saves me dealing with my ex or
mother-in-law for a ride around town, and there's no tax on the order
(gotta love that one!)... it's worth it IMO. I didn't think of the
vet's office - that's a great suggestion. However, until I find a
qualified vet closer to home, my vet who has treated my cats and birds,
and does exotics, and is beyond qualified is about 30 miles south of
where I live. Unfortunately I don't know any other local slaves to
split the order with. If I have too much, I will find a place to donate
it to.

Anyhow, the site is:
http://www.chinchillas.com

But since starting this email, Susi had told me about Kleenmama's and I
checked their website. I can get their brands at good prices. Their
hay sounds great. 9 lbs. of timothy hay and 10 lbs. of pellet would
cost me about $31 to have both delivered. Their website is:
http://kmshayloft.com/

So far, either of the above is cheaper than any of the sites anyone else
has emailed me about or suggested. It keeps me out of stores I dislike
and I'm not buying brands I don't care for and am settling for.

If anyone else is interested, I went to Oxbow's website at:
http://www.oxbowhay.com/
They are more expensive to order from than anywhere else I've come
across. Even their shipping is expensive. I emailed them for samples.
They have a store locator - that didn't help me out. They also have a
vet locator - that may have worked, I have to call them yet.

I also went to Mazuri's site and requested samples. Their website is:
http://www.mazuri.com/

Thanks again everyone!
