[Gpdd] [ANNOUNCE] Fires in Victoria

I've been asked a couple of times about the fires here in Victoria,
Australia.  Thankfully they are not close to us they are hundreds of
miles away but close to some family and friends.  The worst part is the
poor people who've lost their homes, land, stock and the wildlife, it's
been now more than a month since the fires in the Gippsland area have
been burning it's wiped out zillions of hectares (can't remember how
many) and his heading south towards the sea now with many towns on
alert.  My prayers to all their families, i know we'll be having a
relief fund coming up soon which we'll donate to as we're lucky to have
our place.
 
Also very sad to see the horrible fires in California, each year you
have this happen to you, each year you bounce back it's amazing.  I do
hope no lives or furbabies were injured in these fires, and i'm sorry
for all the precious memories that have been lost.
 
Thanks also to the Canadian fire fighters who've come out to help us
here in Victoria what a great bunch of guys they've been on TV but shy
and don't want any thanks, believe me the whole of Australia thanks you.
