[Gpdd] Miscellanous regarding teddy

I realise you have gone back to PetCo and seen their vet, but I am not sure
how well qualified they are.  I took my own guinea pig to our local vets
(who I respect a lot) and they did not give me a duretic -- which was
required for my guinea pigs lung infection.  I had to take him all the way
to the Cambrdige Cavy Trust to get the treatment he needed.

I am not sure of the sighing you describe, but I have not heard either of my
two pigs do this.  For peace of mind, you may well wish to take Teddy to a
non-pet-store vet for a second opinion.  If Teddy is at the start of some
kind of respiratory disorder, it's something that will need checking into
more thoroughly (I am presuming PetCo don't have all the mod-cons a typical
vet would have, and that this is someone with a limited knowledge of
rodents).

My friend took her pet rabbit back to the pet store for its claws to be
clipped and (to get her out of their face, I presume) they told her the
rabbit didn't need its claws clipping.  Not very long after this she gave
the rabbit to me for re-homing, and the state of its claws were terrible.

I took him to PetCo where he is under warranty they sent me to there vet who
said he is just sighing which is normal and may or may not go away .The
itching is a nervous tick no pun intended he has no little critters in his
fur .So i let PetCo know and they were happy of course  they would be or
they would have to contact 4 other piggy owners about the problem he was in
a very small 10 gallon aquarium with about three other cell mates when i got
him his personality is coming out he tosses his food bowl around i caught
him slinging his food and prancing like a horse in his cage and he is just
know eating out of our hands he also shakes his little but and makes this
weird noise like a helicopter going off it is so funny he only does it when
i hold him just like the cooing he wont make any noises for daddy yet but
daddy wont hold him when had a hamster pass away suddenly last month she had
a stroke  and he is still greiving over her i also would like to tell
georges slave i am so sorry for his passing he was lucky to have you as his
slave
